It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post like this where I share all my resources that help you make an extra $1000 a month from home.

Since my last post, I have come across more ways that help you make money using the internet. Some of them do require work from you but most of them are very simple to get started.

This blog post is really for anyone who wants help to make an extra income online. Maybe you already work full time but want some easy gigs you can do to put some extra cash in your pocket to pay the bills.

Or maybe you’re a student and instead of asking mom and dad for an allowance, you really want some dosh to pay for your shopping, parties or just having fun.

Whomever you are, this post will connect you with many websites who will pay you for the simplest of tasks.

The internet has become so good now compared to what it was ten or twenty years ago. You can actually count your blessings that legitimate companies are now getting with the online movement and encouraging people to work and make money online. There are so many avenues that you can use to get started.

Now these recommendations will not help you get rich overnight, but they can put some money into your bank account in the short term. If you’d like to make a business out of it, then it can also earn you a steady income for the long term provided you are willing to work hard at it.

Where Do You Start?

Before I give to you the goods, you might become overwhelmed with the options that you have and not really know where to start.

Here are a few thoughts.

Think about what you like to do and start there. So if you’re good with sharing your opinions then the survey option might be a good choice for you.

If you like helping other people then the freelancing or blogging option might be best. If you like shopping then my cashback recommendations could be your answer.

Ipsos Panel help shape the future and ignite change by sharing your opinions with I-Say. Whilst you will not earn big money, your say will count and you will get the chance to redeem points for great rewards.

Vindale Research wants you to share information about yourself such as your name, email address, date of birth, address, etc. They will then match you to relevant paid surveys which are the highest paid in the industry. With Vindale you can cash out by check or PayPal. You can even receive $2 for free just for signing up.

Inbox Dollars will pay you to read emails, take surveys online, play games and go shopping. New users even get a $5 just for joining. Some of the brands you can be expected to work with include Netflix, Target, Walmart, etc. I give this one a thumbs up. After answering a few emails and watching some videos I had $5 paid to my account. What’s better than no fuss or headache?!

VIP Voice offers you great prizes in exchange for your opinions on products and services that you use. Basically how it works is once you have provided your opinion you can be entered to win vacations, electronics, gift cards and other great prizes.

Survey Junkie helps you influence brands to deliver better products and services. When you join survey junkie you will build your profile and they will match you with relevant surveys. Once completed you earn points which you can then redeem for cash and that’s it.

Opinions USA share your opinions on a wide variety of topics including food, health, shopping, financial services and much more. You are then rewarded in points which you can redeem for gift cards, electronics from places like Amazon, Target, Starbucks or Amex to name a few.

There are so many survey websites that allow you to make money online however I chose the ones who have a good reputation amongst its participators and do not have impossible or difficult policies to cashing out.

I would recommend that you set up a separate email address for your surveys so they do not clutter your current inbox.

Find A Job

You may want another part time job to supplement your income from a full time job or you may just want another job.

Freelance Work

Think about a business where you don’t really need any out of pocket expenses.

You do not even need to go out of your way to find people to take a look at your store front? There are many places on the internet that give you the opportunity to create a profile, then offer your services to their marketplace for free.

All it takes is for you to spend some time figuring out where you can help other people, write a compelling offer, then wait for people to knock on your door.

Freelance services can be in the photography, design, music, lifestyle niches or any other niches where you can express your creativity.

For freelancing you can start with Fiverr, PeoplePerHour.com or Upwork.

When you start, you get to set your own rates. That’s the good thing that I like about these websites because it allows you to state a price where you deem what is truly your worth.

When you are setting your own rates however, make sure they are competitive for your level so that you receive initial offers. As you start to grow your reputation on the websites and build up reviews and experience, then you can increase your prices to reflect what you truly want.

Because these websites are free to join and start selling your services, there is a condition that the site takes a portion of your fees when you get paid. For example, Fiverr takes a 20% cut of your rates so make sure and factor this into your price.

Start A Blog

Starting a blog is more time intensive but it is also a rewarding venture. When you blog, you are essentially sharing your knowledge with the world.

People will see you as an expert in your field based on the content that you put out. Just like you may have a social media outlet where you make educational posts on a particular topic, a blog allows you to do the same but gives you more opportunity to grow your income into hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.

A blog can be just about any topic in the world, so if you find that you can write endlessly about a particular subject because you are very knowledgeable about it, then you can start a blog and share what you know.

Just by installing a simple app and using the internet, you can get paid by the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel who wants to build a picture of internet behaviour from people like you.

I had this app installed on my phone and forgot about it. It is not intrusive, it certainly doesn’t slow down your device and you don’t even know that it’s there.
