How To Build A Network Marketing Business Quickly With Sales Funnels

If it was one thing that I could go back and do over again in my network marketing days, it would be to take a marketing course or invest in a mentor that will teach me exactly what I should be doing to build my network marketing business quickly.
You see, when I started network marketing I did not take it seriously.
I did not understand its potential and I came from a legal background.
So knowing how to promote and sell products, was not my forte.
For two and half years, I learnt only from the top income earners and yea they had a few good tricks up their sleeves.
But now I realise, that tricks was not what I wanted.
I needed a better strategy and that strategy should have been a marketing strategy.
Maybe I was blinded by the success that top income earners had. After all they knew what they were talking about right? So it was right to listen to them.
But I always struggled with this one question
Why were they getting results, (and so fast) and I was not?!
I mean of course if someone is getting results, and they are where you want to be, you would follow what they say.
Why would you zag when everyone else was zigging?
But over time (and I mean two and a half years later) I realised that there was a better way to promote my network marketing business.
A way that leaders are just not talking about and for the life of me I do not know why.
In fact the first time that I heard about this way, was from a sideline sister. She mentioned that people approached her about using “marketing tools” and my upline responded “… do not listen to them! They’re only after your money”.
Yes! That is exactly why I was repelled from the idea.
But only if I listened to my instincts back then, I would have been a lot further in my business than I am today.
But I am not mad. We all have a journey and that was my journey.
So let us get right to it shall we.
Here Are 5 Ways That You Can Build Your Network Marketing Business Quickly With Sales Funnels
1. Build Your Sales Funnel
Who would have thought that this would be your first step?!
In order to grow your business and grow it fast, begin by building a sales funnel.
There are many companies that offer sales funnels like Clickfunnels, LeadPages, GetResponse.

What Is A Sales Funnel?
A sales funnel is the path that you take a prospect through to sell a product or service.
Most network marketers fail at this point because they do not know how to properly approach this process to close a sale.
When I started network marketing, I was told to speak to everyone on my phone contact list.
Then when I exhausted that, go to my social media accounts and start following people like crazy and promoting my product to them.
Talk about face palm!
Then there was attraction marketing. What exactly was attraction marketing in the first place?
Some uplines were very vague because they did not want to disclose their “secret” to people in their downline or who were not on their team.
Then we were told to make it a goal to speak to at least 100 people a day about your business. “It was a numbers game” they said.
But all I was thinking was
How in the world am I going to speak to 100 people every day?!
The answer? A sales funnel and an automated one at that.
How Does An Automated Sales Funnel Work?
Well you are most likely familiar with the whole network marketing approach I just mentioned above.
So instead of you doing the talking, you will start with a website that does the “talking and selling” for you.
And I am not talking about the traditional website, like this one that you’re reading.
That actually comes after and whilst I am dismissing it for the purpose of this topic, it is still an important element of your network marketing business.

What you do want however is an opt in page, or capture page where you can send your prospects to, so they can get more information about your product or offer.
Have you ever opted into a website to receive a discount on your favourite pair of shoes? Well that is what I am talking about.
Click this link to see an example of what I am speaking about.
What this does, is it helps to capture your leads’ information so you can follow up with them by email using autoresponder tools like Aweber or GetResponse.

Then once you have captured their email, you can send them onto your product page or even better your bridge page, where that page will “talk” to your leads.
Meanwhile in your email marketing sequence you can start to build a relationship with your leads by providing value and showing your leadership.
You can also format your emails to find out exactly what your leads’ problems are and provide a solution – which will be your product.
So essentially what I am saying, is that instead of you doing all the work, you can use marketing tools to do the work for you.

That is how you work smarter, not harder!
So once you have your sales funnel, how do you actually find people for your product or offer?
2. Advertising
More than likely you have pitched your offer or product on your Facebook timeline inviting people to “buy your product now” or “join your team today”.
So you probably have gotten a few customers and distributors this way but would you not like to 10x your efforts?
This is where paid advertising comes in.
There are billions of people on the internet. So why would you want to limit yourself with just the 1000 people on your friends’ list?
A great way of finding targeted prospects for your network marketing business is through paid advertising.
Think of Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Yahoo Ads.
The beautiful thing about these platforms is that you can specifically target people who are likely to be interested in your product or opportunity by using keywords or key interests.
I mean this is so much better than walking up to every single person that you meet, hoping that they might bite!
By using advertising you can focus ONLY on those people who are likely to be interested in what you have to say.
3. Bribe Offer
Ok so you know where your ideal customers are hanging out.
You have some great engagement in your advertising.
How on earth are you to convert those ideal customers into leads?
Let us go back to the sales funnel.
Once you have built your sales funnel you actually need your prospect to become interested in what you have to offer.
Now, this does not mean calling them and finding out their likes or dislikes.
You basically want to use a strategy and that strategy is called a bribe offer.
A bribe offer is simply a free offer that you entice your visitors with to get their contact details in exchange for your offer.
Your offer can be any of the following customised to your niche:
- A free ebook
- A free PDF checklist
- A free video series
- A free plan
- A free download
- A free report
Basically anything that you can create that you can give to your prospect that will help them. For example, if you are in the weight loss niche, you may want to offer a free 6 Day Course To Healthy Living.
With this course you can easily research a few topics and prepare a PDF document setting out a plan that the customer will do over a 6 day period.
If you have used your product to achieve a desired result, then you can offer them a free report showing how you did it. Then within that report provide a link to your product page so they can check it out.
It really does not have to be extravagant!
The idea is to offer them something for free, to get their email address.
4. Call To Action
Once you have your offer, create your capture page within your sales funnel, with a headline, an image of the offer and a strong call-to-action.
Then use that capture page in your advertising campaigns.
For example, in my capture page above, I am offering a free e-book to entice my prospects to enter their email address.
I have a strong call to action “Grab Your Free Ebook Now”.
Once I have received their email address, I send them on to the next webpage which contains my product offer.
Remember to send the free offer to your lead by setting up your email campaign in your email autoresponder.
4. Email Marketing
Email marketing is often overlooked by network marketers.
I get that. No one ever told me how to use emails to “speak” to my prospects.
But I have found that it is the best way to convert my prospects from a lead to a sale.
The best part about it, is that it is automatic.
With tools like Aweber or GetResponse, email marketing is like a breath of fresh air.
Before, I would spend hours upon hours inboxing leads on Facebook and Instagram, to follow up with them.
Sooner or later I was bound to get tired and frustrated. And tired I became.
With Aweber or GetResponse, I pre-write my content with FAQs, success stories and starter packs and it is sent out for me on my behalf.
So whilst I am sipping a Pina Colada on the beach side (OH! the dream life), my business is still working for me.
That is what you call living a life of freedom.
5. Converting Your Prospects
Now that you have started getting some leads into your sales funnel and your email list is growing nicely, it is time to start getting sales.
This is where you begin to nurture and reassure your leads.
This is the last stage of the sales funnel and is the most important.
It is where you can gain a lot of new customers or lose a lot of leads.
If you have built your sales funnel right, then your prospect will already have an idea as to what you are offering.
If your email marketing is full of value and you are feeding your leads with information about how your product or opportunity will benefit them and why they need it, then you can easily convert your prospects into paying customers.
You can also offer to answer any questions that they may have.
Ditch the old school and get with the new school!
The ways that I have outlined above, have one thing in common – automated marketing.
If you want to get more sales into your network marketing business quickly, then an automated sales funnel is paramount.
What Do You Want?
- Do you want to shake up your network marketing business?
- Would you prefer to speak to 100 people a day? Or 1000 people a day?
- Is it ideal for you to stop harassing friends and family to join you in your business or buy your product?
- Do you prefer to connect with the right people who actually want to work with you because they are PRE-QUALIFIED?!
- Would you not like to stop wandering around malls, beauty fairs, the streets looking for your next prospect? (which in my view is a complete waste of time if you know how to use the internet)
- Do you dream of building your business with an endless stream of people to talk to who actually want to hear from you instead of giving you BS excuses and asking ridiculous questions?
If you want those things, then using an automated sales funnel is the EXACT way that top network marketers get more customers, recruit more reps and make more money in their business. It is all because they have a system in place to make their sales process easier.
Leverage this exact system that I use personally to go from recruiting 5 people a month to over 20 people a month.
